Chicken Wings Two Ways
serves 4
Wings
chicken wings, dried
cornstarch
corn oil
Parmesan Garlic Sauce
1 C butter
1 cl garlic
1/4 t pepper
1 t onion salt
1/3 C Parmesan cheese, grated
1/3 C yogurt
Asian Sauce
2 t cornstarch
4 t rice wine vinegar
1/2 C corn syrup (sub artificial sweetener)
1/3 C sugar (sub artificial sweetener)
1/4 C chili-garlic sauce
1 t lemon juice
1/4 t garlic powder
Instructions
For the Wings: Coat the chicken wing with corn starch, then fry in oil until skins are crisp. Finish the wings in the oven at 350.
For the Parmesan Garlic sauce: Heat all ingredients together in a sauté pan.
For the Asian Sauce: Combine the cornstarch and vinegar in a bowl, then add the other ingredients. Heat in a sauté pan to a boil until thickened.
Toss the wings in the sauce and serve hot.
